Emergency basement flood response is the immediate, same-day dispatch when a basement is actively flooding and every hour of delay makes the eventual cleanup bigger and more expensive. This isn't a scheduled appointment – it's a rapid response built for the moment you discover water pouring in or rising in your basement and need someone on-site now, not tomorrow.
This is what you need when a basement is actively taking on water right now, when a sudden storm has caused flash flooding into your foundation, when a sump pump has failed during heavy rain and water is rising fast, or when a pipe burst has flooded the basement while you were away and you've just discovered it. The defining factor is urgency – active water that's spreading or deepening needs an immediate response, not a next-day visit.
We treat these calls with real priority, aiming to get a crew on-site as fast as possible given the active situation. On arrival, we address any ongoing water source we can control, then move immediately into extraction to clear as much standing water as possible before it spreads further into walls, flooring, or stored belongings. We assess the full scope of what's affected, start initial drying setup before we leave, and walk you through what happens next once the emergency itself is under control.
Cost for emergency response reflects the urgency of immediate dispatch alongside the standard extraction and cleanup work, with the amount of water and how long it's been present factoring in as well. Homes in Portland, OR catching flooding within the first hour or two typically see meaningfully lower overall restoration costs than those where water sat overnight.
